webTrade - auction system

We had long monitored market demand and how business uses of the Internet changed and in late 2003 we started developing webTrade to face the challenge. Less than half a year later we launched a modern and open platform. Thanks to our experience gained with the previous projects, we are sure that webTrade will come up to our clients’ expectations and assure fast growth of their businesses. 

The auction system is a trade platform designed for professionals. The system is a perfect tool to support and simplify delivery in your enterprise without the need to invest in hardware or software. You will get better prices when selling or buying than with traditional tenders or auctions because bids for goods or services are made online and you can monitor competitors’ offers. Thus you may change your bid without leaving the office while having at hand all the data needed to estimate prices for products or services. 

In June 2004, webTrade has been made compatible with the new Public Procurement Act of January 29, 2004. In consequence, the entities that must comply with the act can run a tender through webTrade in the form of an electronic auction (a novelty under the Act). Within such an auction all “material objects, rights and other goods” can be purchased up to the value of €60,000 net. As the surveys prove, the benefit from using the system to trade services up to €6,000 in value, when the Act doesn’t apply, is also significant and exceeds the auction cost many times.
